Until further notice, the University Archives and Southern Minnesota Historical Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato is officially closed.  As a result, we have suspended all services including research requests, obituary requests, duplication and reproduction services, and the sale of books and DVDs.  If you are looking for information from our collections, we highly encourage you to view our digital collections in ARCH =  ARCH contains a wealth of digitized photographs, yearbooks, oral histories, the complete school newspaper, the Reporter back to 1926, and more.  Additionally, you can view our archival collection guides at and in ARCH. Staff are available to answer some general or basic questions through our email, but our physical collections are inaccessible for the duration of our closure. Thank you. 


The University Archives and Southern Minnesota Historical Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Memorial Library on the north side of the Marilyn J. Lass Center for Minnesota Studies.  Archives staff are available to help.
